With international consumer’s environmental awareness is growing, more and more countries begin to put forward new environmental requirements for wood products. After the Lacey Act, Country of origin labeling law put forward by European Union recently require the wood products imported into the eu market must have to get FSC id, require companies to keep track of the wood cutting source, and has the strict environmental performance requirements for raw materials, the policy will take effect on March 3, 2013

Some furniture export industry insiders said that the amount of China's furniture exports to the eu take up for more than one third of Chinese global furniture exports gross, this rules will make 30% or so of the furniture export enterprises hard to enter the eu market.
